History Of Me and Music....
Let's start at the beginning, I would be in the car and I would listen to the radio station KSON 103.7, a country music station, hehe. I loved it so much that I started to memorize the song and they weren't the best to be singing when you are like 10 or 7 about getting drunk and getting laid. My parents hated that I was singing that stuff with my innocent mind at the time and so they practically banded listening to the radio without one of them there to be able to turn it off when things got tooooo . . .
My parents are the ones that want to keep my brain from experiencing mature content too early in life. They want to protect me innocents so to speak. So they have to go through all my music before I am ALLOWED to listen to it, but for a while, they have given me some control of what I listen to, but there are rules like no explicit song. And I agree with them, I don't like really listening to the vulgar words anyway, but there are times that the words are called for, but even then I get uncomfortable with the vulgar words. Sure, there are people in the world that use them all the time, and sometimes I even use them, but it doesn't make it less . . .
ANYWAY!!! I love music because of the story that is told in the lyrics and the melody, and how it sounds so beautiful when put all together. I write music if you don't know, I like to put parts of real-life in fantasy or in a harsh reality, I like to take things that happen to my friend and family and put them into a song. I seem to like to write dark sad songs, but I like writing happy songs too, but they never sound as good. I love the way the music forms in my head, then gets stuck, and then I have to let it out on my guitar or paper. I even start humming mash-ups between two different songs like one of mine and one of a famous singer, I love rewriting their lyrics and creating a different story but with the same impact of the melody. I really don't know why I am so addicted to listening and writing music, probably because there are ones that relate to my story but, IDK....
